With the martins coming in to Florida and Louisiana this early they may be needing a warm place to stay and these houses would offer a pretty easy way to insulate and give perching places inside where the males have been observed sitting on in natural gourds.

That's a promising experiment, I'd love to hear the results.
I do know this, both my husband and I looked at picture three and said the same thing - "LOOK AT ALL THAT SHOP SPACE, AND WITH A CLEAN FLOOR !!!"

actually it is my garage and was a mess until my wife and I cleaned it up a few minutes before so we could get the cars in for the night. I'm getting ready to build a garage soon I hope
