Good afternoon !
I'm happy to report I have 7 out of 8 gourds with nesting pairs and one apparent bachelor pad! I have four eggs in 5 nests, and five eggs in 2 nests for a total of 30 !!! Six of the nests were easy to see, but one nest has a HUGE mud dam at the door such that I had to remove the door to look over it for my count! And I'm equally pleased to report there are NO MITES !!! I haven't used anything other than cedar chips, so I'll have to keep a close eye on this and pray there's no outbreak.
I'd be interested to hear how everyone else is doing.

Hello,
I did nest check a couple days ago. The martins were up to 27 eggs total. Some sy's still laying and a few nest are just about complete. Will check in a day or so when the weather gets nicer. Cold and rainy most of the day.
