Nesting question

Is it common for sy to build nest in several compartments? I have a dr 12 n nature house and they have brought straw to three compartments on one side. It has been changed to 6x12s. STill has round holes but I do have sreh doors for it just don`t know when to put them on. Keith

It is very common for adult and SY martins to take two to three holes and fill each one! That is normal! Sounds like you are going to have a good year! Good luck! John!
