Hi everyone,
I tried to get a few shots of my first Pm babies that were born in my Gourd's but the pic's were too dark so i waited Patiently until they started hatching in my Goliad House so i could pull out the Nestbox, so here are a couple more Pic's for your Viewing Pleasure. Enjoy!!!!!

Hey Kenny,

Thanks for sharing those great pictures of your baby martins. Sounds like your martin colony is doing well. I have a lot of babies in my colony, too.

Chuck & Steve ,
It looks like your colony's are getting along well , thanks for the kind words of encouragement and support...it has been hard to make a come back after my whole colony being wiped completely out and at this time i would have even more Pm's and egg's but the Hawks got some of them so i'll just be happy & Content with what i have thus far.

Chuck,
I just know you are going to get over 50 this year.

K.C.,

Your colony was completely wiped out? Was it by a snake? When was this?

I know about hawks. They picked off some of mine this year too.

KC,

It's good to hear you're having such a great season! I plan on doing a count today. Last count was 16 pairs so I might be right there around 18 pairs also.

Thanks for sharing those wonderful pics

Thanks for the kind words Dale ,
I still have some subbie's nest building , more egg's are sure to follow so I may end up with around 100 egg's this year B-4 it's all over with. I have a big concern about the banding, May not be able to get it done this year and I want to really bad but we are going to be gone to St.Maarten the Last two weeks of may, My next door neighbor is a Grand Prairie Police Officer , he & His Wife are going to watch my house while we are gone but They don't know anything about Martins at all altho i've tried to show Them. Dale on the Prognosticator it is showing my banding dates of 5/14 thru 5/30/06 thus far on the 56 chicks that have hatched . Dale , is it possible for me to get the Bander in here B-4 we leave next fri (5/19/06)?? , can you please let me know the bander's name & number and i'll try and set something up , so maybe they can talk w/ my neighbor if i'm gone while they do the banding, I have all of my info for the bander to look at in case they can't make it while i am still in town. Please let me know asap, thanks....
