facing speakers

Not sure which way my speakers should be facing? I live near the bay quarter mile or less. The water is still cold and the winds are blowing off the water toward my direction but I drive near the bay and don't see martins. I'm sure there more inland were it may be warmer and of course is were the insects may be. But if I face it more westward theres a highway two lane rt 9 to be more exact. My fear would be the noise will drown out my martin sound. Not sure if south would make a difference either. Any suggestions are does this not really matter.
