I have an S-K Nest Cam and can't get any color with the maximum color setting on my TV. It has good color with natural light, but mounted inside my Quad Pod compartment everything is black and white.
If anyone has had this same problem and has found a solution, I would like to know what I might try. It would be nice to see those chicks in their natural pink color.

How Can I Get Color From My Nest Cam?

Flydock. I'm not sure this is it, but how many of the lights do you have uncovered?? I'm just wondering, if you have them all open, if this would wash the color out, and make it black and white. I've been told you only want One or Two of the lights uncovered. The rest should be covered with tape. Otherwise, you might Email, or Call Dave at S&K. CUL Lou

I did talk to Dave and I tried covering the lights a few at a time which made no difference. The only thing that brings out the color is more natural light as in opening the roof of the compartment which is not really very practical to do.
Did you get good color by covering some of the infrared lights?

Mine mms://chris.homedns.org is pretty much the same as you describe. I suspect its the trade off we have to live with, low light capability (no light) versus brilliant color.
