The male gets the SREH!!!

Well, this morning we saw the male go into the SREH openings on the Big Bo Gourds. The female came in at 8:15pm last evening by herself as she had been doing for the last four nights. Watched til dark and never saw the male come in.

Then this morning at about 6:30am he was there! Don't know if he came this morning or sneaked by us in the evening. Anyway, he went into all 6 gourds, inspected them, perched, and started singing up a storm. The female came out, perched, and started preening.

Now we know he "can" do it!! Hoping he can show some more males that the SREHs can be entered! :wink:

If we only knew what he might have been looking for when he just had to look at them all,thats interesting,,,thanks for that story
