REPORT FOR NEW WANNABEES

It took awhile but I now have located landlords who have active colonies. They are networking with me. This is a great help while I wait, on the edge of my chairs, for the first Martins to show up and stay. I am nicely coached, to understand, the needs, the skills and the patience a newbee must go through, in hopes of seeing that all important first couple.

Based on everything I think I have learned the colony site is well within the needed physical arrangements. Now it is more or less luck and the whim, of mother nature, whom I hope will smile upon my efforts.

It is gratifying, to have a couple coaches holding my hand. It cools the antsy feeling I naturally overwork into my emotions...sometimes.

As of this date, in North Central Pennsylvania I am led, to believe, there is still a whole month, of arrivals coming, in and passing through my area. We have arrivals at relatively close sites appearing daily. We firmly believe mother nature will smile upon us with time, to get started this year. If we should not be so lucky next year is another year with the odds on success exactly as it was this year. We will try, to wait this out patiently.

If you are likewise a wannabee feel free, to post here. All others will understand and maybe add interesting comments, to ease the waiting time.

I sincerely thank those on this forum who helped me arrive at this point, in time. I would like now, to add the landlord experience so that I may help others from the experience base. My only advise is, to read and reread the archives, of the PMCA site. They are priceless too.

Your words reflect exactly how I feel too. I too am a newbee and I live about 40 miles north of you, So if you'd be so kind an let one pair go by, I'd appreciate that - lol. Hopefully we will both be lucky enough to get a colony started this year. Keep me posted on your endeavor.
