MN Martin Seminar on May 6th

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to post some information on the Martin seminar I will be speaking at on Saturday May 6th at 9:00 AM. The seminar will last about 2 hours and cover things such as housing basics, site location, dealing with nest site competitors, predation, and colony management. Anyone planning on attending should make reservations by calling the Wild Bird Center at 320-253-5677 (So the store owner has an idea of how many will attend :grin: ) I'm also working on the possibilty of a small trip after the seminar to see an active colony up close. I encourage people to spread the word, especially to beginners and existing landlords who need valuable information on problems they may be having with their colonies. Hope to see you there!

Hi Kelly, for some reason I had thought that the MN Martinfest was June 21.

Is this in addition to that one?

Yes, this is in addition to MN Martinfest. Hope you can make it! There will be lots of information covered.

Kelly, if you e-mail the major manufacturers they will send you pamplets and other useful handouts. Ask Ron Vasser if you can use his photos, they are awesome

Kelly put on a great seminar in MN today!

It was very informative and the visit to the John Deere site was fun! The martins put on quite a show for all of us too.
