Forum Problem: Notification of Replies

How come I'm not getting an e-mail when someone replies to a thread I have posted to? I have selected that option in my Profile, and I always got notices last year, but this year, nothing. This board moves so fast and there are many threads with similar titles, so I am having a hard time keeping up with subjects I am watching.

I'm running a test to see if I get notices of replies, and will email the forum admin to check it out on Monday

Kathi -- Is there any chance the Forum has lost your auto log in and is not recognizing you? That happens to me occasionally and I have to manually log in and check the automatic log in option. -- JohnP

I wonder if it might be junk mail filters - have you changed email service since last year? My reply feature is working so I will check your account settings and see if I notice anything there - you can email and private message okay?

A FEW MINUTES LATER... Dr Kathi, everything looks okay. Please make sure your mail service is accepting emails from the Forum and not classifying them as junk - check your junk mail or deleted messages folders to see if Forum replies are being routed there. Let me know

Kathi. It's gotten so busy that I normally just scan through to see what's posted. I always click "Check postings since I last logged in." Or something like that. That way, it only shows what you have NOT viewed before. CUL Lou

The whole site has been unstable/flaky since the upgrade. At times all things work ok at times they don't. The only thing that is consistent is the response from the administrators.
In my case notification sometimes works/works partially/does not work at all.
I have not made any changes to my pc or profile.

Thanks all, for the help and advice. I haven't change e-mails or Internet providers or anything else about my system. My other PM bulletin board recently changed to this same format, and I get my e-mail notifications from them just fine. I can't understand what is up. I will try to see if there is something in my security settings that I need to change, but I am not the most computer-literate person, so that might take a while.

Guess I will just keep manually checking on things till I can work it out.

And I am wondering why I have to log in my user name and password every day when I want to reply to a topic? This has been going on for some time now.
