April 27th is Take Your Daughter to Work Day. This is an excellent opportunity to conduct a Purple Martin Seminar at your place (or if retired, prior place) of employment. Those that organize the day's activities will be happy to give you a time slot (less work for them) and its easy to put together a power point presentation with all of the resources on the web (only needs to be about 20 minutes long as you'll be floored by questions). The PMCA also has an excellent presentation available for those without the time to set up a presentation.
Best part is that you'll have an opportunity to suggest to someone in management at your place of business set up a martin house on the premises (most corporate sites have wide open areas). For the corporation its all WIN/WIN. Great PR, opportunity for next years Take Your Daughter to Work Activities, etc. Also, the daughters will be talking to their parents who may decide to put up a martin house at their residence.
