Ron,

Your pictures just make my day.

Do you have any pictures of your set up? I sure would like to see it.

Thanks Sheila and Jeanne!

Jeanne, here is a pic of my martin housing. The T-14s have 12 volt winchs and all poles are protected by a solar fence charger. This was before the martins arrived and I had just finished putting up the center T-14.

That set up is so sweet! I bet the PM's just love hunting over your pond. I always have tons of mosquito hawks flying over my pond and this year they are very plentiful again.

Solar panels? That sounds very interesting. I have two solar panels in my shed that are only about 6 months old. We used them to open our gate but my husband decided to hardwire the gate and now the panels are just being stored. Maybe I could use them like you are doing? When you have time, please send me the scoop on that.

If I were a Martin, I would definitely want to live at your house. 8)

Great photos, Ron, and that is one sweet spread you've got. Wish my place was like that!

Make sure you send in those PM pics to the PMCA. They'd look great as a cover photo!

Edit: I forgot to ask: what camera do you use?

Beautiful Pics. Well done. I really like #2 when the three other PM above are watching her landing. All they need are little signs holding up "10". LOL

Ron,

Great photos and great setup! I too am kind of interested in the solar panel fence charger. Sounds intriguing.

Hello Ron, that is a beautiful place and I love your set-up! My mom lives
right outside of Rome. I also have a aunt in Silvercreek and a aunt in
Calhoun. Non of them have martins at this time, I think I have my mom
just about talked into putting up a house as she has a great place for one.

That second image of the 3 birds staring at the bottom female on the gourd is so comical. It's like they're waiting for the evening performance or something.
