Hello everyone....
Nest building has been in full swing since last 2 weeks. My 8yr old daughter & I brought house (T14) down this afternoon to check status of nest building and behind door #13...2 awesome white beauties. First egg was April 4 last year. It's hard to believe that many of you landlords up North are just beginning to get your birds and we already have eggs and our birds will be leaving in just three months. Good luck to all this season.
2 Eggs!!!!
That's great Rick!! I got 6 eggs so far (lost 1) and my 4 year old is as excited as I am. Several SYs have recently arrived and are causing a commotion. Looks like this may be a very good year. Good luck and enjoy.

This is great, guys! I am holding out hope, but it's about all. My chances are low this year.
CNO~La, just curious what part of town you are in?

I live in town, hear the Millerville/I-12 exit. No customers yet. Read the post I have up currently entitles something like "I AM Still Not Convinced".
It will tell you my story, so I don't have to repeat it again.
About 10 years ago, and for 25 years before that, I had houses up at various locations, mostly in and around Houma. That was in a previous life, and I left them to the ex.
Now wanting to start over again, and not getting much luck.

Hi guys,
I've got two compartments with nests, but probably only one pair. They set up on the opposite side of the house this year -- away from my windows :( I haven't seen any SY birds. The colony at the Goodyear on Lee is just humming -- normally 8-12 birds at all times.
My family went on a walk out at the Highland Road Observatory (Semita major trail), and checked out some of the bluebird boxes. One had 5 babies, already with good amounts of feathers (if they were martins, I'd say about 15 days old).
I hope I'll have eggs in a couple days, 'cause there's some green leaves in the nests.

CNO~La, when did the SYs arrive? I have a couple of visitors now and then, but none are sticking yet. I'm hoping to get them going when the SYs get here. There are a lot of PM houses around me and they have been occupied since 3/1. thanks,Don
