It's March 29 and finally, two ASY males showed today!
They were supposed to be here two weeks ago. The weather as been cold, so we were glad they waited.
This is our third year as active landlords. Last year we had 3 very successful pairs with four eggs/four fledglings each.
My wife, Andrea, and I love the Martins! We're anticipating another great year.
We trust it will be a great season for all!
They're back!

Hi Joe,
We live a little north of you, in Flora. This is our 15th year. We had our first male show up March 8th this year. Earlier than normal. Had a couple more a few days later then nothing until the last two days. Now up to at least 14 birds. I'm sure you will find that some of your birds will arrive earlier as your colony ages.
Keep your eyes open, looks like they're finally coming up to Illinois.
Luck,
Frank
