would it be possible for the PMCA to offer a gift issue/subscription where current members can send at least 1 issue of the update to a landlord who isn't a member?
i know of a guy nearby that has a poorly managed site, but a couple of things keep me from stopping to talk to him. 1. i can't even get my own martins so i don't feel good about talking to someone else who has martins about what they are doing 'wrong', and 2. i don't enjoy knocking on peoples doors out of the blue.
if PMCA had a 'gift kit', where, in an envelope, there was a cover letter stating that Mr/Mrs so and so residing at such and such has sent you a gift membership to the PMCA...then explain what the PMCA is, and include an issue of the update. this could have several affects...might help introduce people to each other who enjoy martins, the gift recipient may join the PMCA outright thus increasing membership, and they may improve their sites. i figure for $5-10 dollars this should be feasible.
