I came home this morning with my son and swore I heard a martin and sure enough when I wen around the house to check there he was sitting on lowered house seemingly looking at me as if to say, "When you going to raise this thing?" I quickly went and raised it and he very happily checked it out and hung around for several hours.
Of course I've since had a couple sparrows decide they want to move in as well. I'm hoping the trap with catch the little rats before too long.
