custom gourd rack

The photos are of the gourd rack I designed and fabricated out of aluminum plate and conduit. You can add more levels if you like. It is ready for the martins as soon as they get here.

That is a very good looking set up. Very clean and modern looking and also appears to be quite functional. It looks like you could also add owl guard panels to the front if you thought it was necessary. Keep up the good work.

I love that setup. It looks sharp. I've been trying to come up with a way of redesigning a gourd rack of my own. Right now I've used the perching tree arms available through this site, but I have never liked the gangly look of the arms. Your setup gives me an idea!

Very nice workmanship. Wish I was that handy. Metal and I never got along together very well. Now to see me at my best send bailing wire and bubble gum.

Is it on a round pole. I've been thinking (again) about adding a double gourd rack. The problem I have is using a square pole and finding "scrap" aluminum for the braket. I thought of using a round pole, but was afraid it would move around the pole.... kinda like when the wind blew.
