what kind of gourd

In the 2006 and 2005 catalog on page 36 there is a picture of the T-14Metal Pole. Hanging below the T 14 house are four gourds with Excluder opening. My question is where can they be purchased, and who makes them. Thank You.

eah415, they are Troyer Horizontal gourds that are made by Andrew Troyer and sold by the PMCA and other places too.
PMCA member and Martin fanatic....
2011 A pair of subbies fledged three young but none returned in 2012 :-(
2015 One Pair of subbies came and stayed a few nits but got chased away by Bluebirds and Tree swallows. :-(
2017 0ne pair of subbies nested and fledged 4 young
2018 Tree Swallows AGAIN chased away any martins that wanted to nest :evil:
2019 Same old story................ :-(

I am sorry, but in my catalog I only find round and crescent opening. Could you help me out and tell me what page you were refering to. Thanks again.

I found this website that says natural gourds are the best to use.

Second on their list are the Troyer Gourds.
