This may sound dumb but here it goes...I'm a rookie and have been told by several people to find people with active colonies in my area - so I can see what works. How do I go about doing it? From driving around, the only PM housee I have seen are all run down and starling infested. My house is located in Deposit NY - 25 miles east of Binghamton. Does anyone know of any active landlords in my area? Is there a database of landlords/colonies?

The 1st few pages will be blank locations (individuals like yourself that did not bother to fill in the entire user profile) The users with valid locations start with user 200+.

I don't think there are a lot of landlords in NY who frequent the forum, but there are a few. There are no martins in NY now and you will see posts from those people as martins get closer around April 1. I would suggest you go to the scout report page and study the prior years (2005-back). Click on NY or states near you and see if you see any scout reports from that area. Then try contacting those folks. Some can be located through the members list at the top of this forum.

Carmine, do what Stan w said and maybe look on how many posts the member has done and the more posts I would bet the more likely they would like to help you. Plus ask away on this forum. There are no dumb questions, if so, I have asked a million dumb ones.
