Four ASY's arrived 23Feb.. As of 26 March, there are six total. There appears to be a pair trying to establish, but I haven't gotten a good look at them all together.
They usually arrive in March. This year they are a month early. Did the hurricanes cause that much confusion?

Martin Colony History: First started in Gretna, La in 1969 with a small homemade house, have had martins ever since at 2 different homes in Texas

The migration times have been about normal. Often some people get their martins much earlier, and some get them much later, it always seems to average out to normal...I doubt that the hurricanes will have any effect on the migration times..

Interesting. Mine were a week late compared to my historical average. I think it just depends on the weather, wind direction etc. at the time of migration.
I'm a "nestcamaholic" Is 18 hours a day a bad thing? (I have 2 this year, luckily I have 2 eyes!)

I just checked the extended 10 day forecast for central Kentucky, and we are going to start having some days with temperatures in the 60's and even touch 70. The three coolest days in the next ten are going to have highs of 55 and 56 degrees.

Of course these type forecasts can change, but it looks like to me central Kentucky will get our first PM's right on time in early March.

Hate for all you Texans to have all the fun.
