I think I figured out these photo attachments(had to reduce them). My daughter took these pictures during the storm. I was too freaked out to do it. Moving cars to high ground and trying to keep water out from under the doors. Part of the pier has been repaired (to the waters edge). Hope the PMs will return! Good luck everyone!

Wow, TigerPitt,
Katrine sure did her baddest to your dock.
I'd love to see the dock, as it stands today. As you know, we see so much destruction everyday, a little rebuilding photo would do a lot of good about now.

TIGERPITT, those photos tell so much, a thousand words could not do as much...to see things like the ripples on the water beside the house indicates the strong wind, the auto being submerged, and the after photos...I always feel for you...I love the water, the docks, etc. but how can you feel like rebuilding and facing that again? When will the people like you reconsider rebuilding?
I don't mean this in a bad way, it just seems so depressing..

Emil,
We enjoy the pier so much. I am going to rebuild it one more time. I have to be optimistic and hope that Katrina was the worst for a while. We are so lucky compared to the people to our west. Our house was not damaged very much, but the 11.5 ft storm surge was tough on the yard. Most plants do not like to go under water, especially salt water. I do not want to bore y'all with this. This is a PM site. I will take care of them you can be sure. They are such a joy!
