General Comments: This is a good opportunity for anyone in the area to learn a lot and meet other martin enthusiasts.
Chet has done this program for several years and it is always well attended. He maintains a colony of 100 pairs just north of San Antonio and has good first hand experience in all facets of managing martins, from tweaking house designs to banding.

I will be presenting the PMCA powerpoint and like last year, anyone who plans to attend may email a photo of your colony and I will include it in the presentation. Include name and colony location.
Also I will be looking for landlords in the San Antonio / Austin area who are interested in having their martin nestlings banded. I will have banding request forms at the meeting.

I am bumping this thread after seeing some interest in having martins banded from Chet's area of study.
In order to have nestlings banded by any member of our team, it is imperative that good nest records be kept (Project MartinWatch) and that a commitment be made to do followup scoping for band returns iin future seasons and to report them.
This should be a great workshop to attend.
