I am sure this has been posted before and I missed it, but this is a wonderful web sight. Go to http://www.pbase.com. When there at the top of page click on search. In search type in any subject such as Purple Martin or subject of your choice. Once Purple Martin comes up click on any picture for more pictures. When you are finished be sure to go back to search and look at sunsets and waterfalls.

Thanks. Nice pictures!

 Thanks..... that's just what I needed to tide me over until the Martins get back here. TO anyone else looking... once you do the search... don't forget to click on the pictures that come up-- it then opens the entire album for each of those people. I thought the Natural colored brown gourds on the wheel rack were interesting. But lots of great Martin pictures in all of them them. The Park River Wildlife refuge has the best
in-flight pictures I have ever seen! Thanks for sharing!

2015 One Pair of subbies came and stayed a few nits but got chased away by Bluebirds and Tree swallows. :-(
2017 0ne pair of subbies nested and fledged 4 young
2018 Tree Swallows AGAIN chased away any martins that wanted to nest

Joe,
Did you double click on that picture of the Male Martin and see the rest of the in-flight pictures he took???. That must have been some camera! Those were the most amazing photos --- perfect wings spread out.... Amazingly beautiful.

Kelly,
Yes I did. I loved the shots of the babies taking in the outside world from their round hole. But that full wing spread shot took my breath away!
