Hello Everyone, As we get ready for the 2006 season, please remember to protect your site from predators...snakes as well as other bird invasion, also don't forget those pesky mites! I've attached a picture of the experience we had last year with a rat snake. Hope it helps! Marsha

Marsha, this is a great time to post that. It looks like the snake made it by the predator guard, but the netting caught it. Good job!

Hello Marsha,
I had three rat snakes caught in the net traps I put under the rope winder and on the ground around the pole! That was the only predator I was really worried about! Now this year I'm going to put 4 inch PVC pipe around the poles, about 4 feet from ground on up! Then as added protection, I'm going to put the net traps around the poles or PVC pipe on the ground too. So anyone that don't have traps on better get them ready! Three snakes is too many! I would recomend the net traps for added protection! Thanks John!
