Hummingbirds need help in the south

The owner of the local Wild Bird Store in Wisconsin tells me the hummingbirds are in big trouble in the hurricane areas of the south...the Audobon is trying to help by getting feeders out....one report was of 75 - 150 hummingbirds trying to get to 3 feeders....I guess there is a lack of vegetation for them...

so if you have feeders, it might help to put them out. they need to be changed every few days so they don't get moldy. use one part sugar to 4 parts water. don't use honey (it gets moldy too fast).
