Migratory Birds may carry Bird Flu?

I recently read a newspaper article stating that migratory birds will be carrying the new disease poised to sweep the world. Is there any concern that martins could contribute to the spreading of this disease at some point in the near future? Thanks, Brett
This only My Opinoin, I am no Scientist. I read the bird flu hasn't made the jump from human to human. When it mutate's enough to make that jump it indeed could be the new Plaque. I think any Fowl from domestic to wild carries it. IMO and what I read and heard on TV discussion's (just watched it the other day, but can't remember what program it was) it's the large poultry houses in asia that probably don't have good sanitation which allow it to mutate freely. It and other strains of human flu have the potential to be the next big killers.
On the brighter note the flu hasn't made the jump yet and this gives scientist's time to try to figure out a what will stop it. Let's face it, the world is becoming more populated each year and people are traveling at record speeds from one country to another. A wild bird IMO is also caught in the middle, they probably catch it just like we do human flu, being in the wrong place at the right time.

Dave, I buy the Indystar, and the Kokomo Tribune everyday before work. I cannot locate the article on either websites. Migratory geese from China and Russia were mentioned, and it seemed to leave room for other birds also. Brett
