Migrating Martins
Info for our northern landlords--your "babies" have made it to SC!! For the past week, there have been quite a few martins in the area--from small groups of three or four to around forty or fifty. They are flying around for hours feeding and skimming the lake for water; however, they are completely silent--no chirping at all. Hopefully, they have missed the bad weather and will have a safe trip to Brazil. It's great to see them again since ours have been gone for months.

It wont be long now before they are all gone from the U.S. Or will they be? Sometimes I wonder if a few stay way down in the Florida keys and never make it to Brazil.
