Wasps all my pool. Wife allergic to wasps.

I have a pool my wife loves except the unwelcome wasps always drinking there. I have found all the nests I can. I have a big backyard....will a Martin house help and will I need to put it up by the pool because there are many trees over there. The other side of the yard is more open, without tall trees. Also do trees matter if the Martin house is above them?

Hi and welcome to the forum. I wonder if you could entice the wasps to drink in another part of your yard. Try sugar water in a far corner of your yard. Put your martin house in the most open part of your yard, I am not sure if they will eat many wasps though.

and, don't forget that wasps love to build nests in martin houses. there are ways to prevent that. i'm sure someone on the forum can help you more than me, but i have read here that using a bar of soap and rubbing down the inside of the house, will prevent wasps from building. they can't attach their nests due to the residue of the soap.
