Third Modification

I started this house off 2 years ago as a 12 room 6x6x6. Had one nesting pair. At the end of the first season I converted it to 6 room 6x6x12 with all six entrances facing the front. Once again due to male dominance I had the one pair. At the end of this season I converted it again to 6 room 6x6x12 but, I placed 2 entrances on each end where they will enter and make a 90 degree turn to go to nesting area and 2 entrances entering the front straight in. See how it works next season.

Dale, I think they will like it better with the entrances further apart. I think that is one reason why martins like gourds. My gourds are 26in apart from one hole to antother hole, and even then, I still have some that claim two cavities, but they mostly accept each other at that distance

Thanks Emil, Hopefully they will accept it better this year as you say with the entrances apart.
The art thing was my wife. She didn't want it plain white with red trim so she put her little touch in it with the cartoon characters.
