That's very good work. Nice and neat with clean lines. Everything's square and level and well thought out. I'll give it an A. Al

Wow! That looks great! Now how did you put it together and what hardware? I remember you said you used 1 inch pole and a pulley with a crank! What else and how to put it togther? How does it do in storms and the wind? I really like the set-up! E-mail me if you want Mike! Thanks John!

John,

The pole is 1" schedule 40 galvanized pipe. The house mounting consist of an aluminum plate 6" X 12" X 1/4" thk with a 1-3/8" hole drilled in the center.
A piece of 1-1/4" schedule 40 aluminum pipe 12" long welded to the plate centered over the hole. There are (2) pieces of 3/4" electrical conduit 4' long mounted each side of the aluminum plate with conduit clips. The houses then sits on these pieces of conduit with (4) conduit clips bolted to the bottom of the house. The winch and cable attachment are typical of other setups.

The house can be removed by sliding them straight off the conduit.
Perches can be added easily as well.
I have a pole that is 18' and another that is 15'.
These houses have withstood 65 -70 mph winds.

I am going to make this set with a few changes for my gourds this winter.
Hope this helps. let me know if you need any more info. I can send you more detailed pictures if you request.
