We drove in from our vacation today and I was shocked to see many martins on a house in the neighborhood! I really thought they would be gone by now. Anyone still seeing them?

- Martin Colony History: First started in Gretna, La in 1969 with a small homemade house, have had martins ever since at 2 different homes in Texas
They are roosting at Hwy59 & Bellaire Blvd, so during the day, they fly around and eat for a while, then they go visiting. Pearland is closer to the roost than my place is. They still fly over my house, some land on the power lines nearby. You will keep seeing some until the roost is empty. I saw at least 30 on the power lines when I took my dog for a walk yesterday morning.
