I replaced 12 of my round opening gourds with the troy tunnel opening gourds. All my other qourds have half moon
PM TD me it will keep out the starlings.
Great, now PM are getting stuck in the opening, I had to unstuck two today.
I now think that it was a bad purchase, I was not informed that this could happen.
Does anyone have a solution to this

Are they stuck going straight in/out or is it wing entrapments, like one wing is inside and one is outside. I have had Troyer gourds for a long time and have only had a couple of entrapments.

This generally are lower risk. I'm wondering if you placed onto the outside of some gourds and did not fully open the back wall. This creates a tight foyer where birds trying to turn around inside, or if fighting inside it, are more prone to entrapment at the exits.
