Live babies
We notice 2 dead babies today stuck in the entrance. I did a nest check and there are still 2 live babies. Unfortunately I believe the nesting site has been abandoned/fleged. Definitely abandoned, I just came inside almost dark and no one returned. I cant do anything with them tonight, so I left them and will call the local wildlife hospital tomorrow to see if they are open. If they are still alive, I will take them in. Sad because looks like they should have fledged soon. Any other suggestions?
I believe it was hours. They were active in the morning. Im not exactly sure how old. I do not have a pole that is easy to move up and down so, we dont interfere much unless someone falls out or we notice something off. This is the time they usually vacate my site, end of May beginning of June. I did check on them, still alive, and while up on my ladder what appeared to be a female hollered at me and then I believe the male flew high above. I shut the door and moved away. I am keeping an eye out to see if they return. I imagine they are old enough to not have to eat all the time at this point. Appears parents.are still watching

Any chance moving them to another nest and put one or two into the nest with similar size babies?
