My birds have been here for about three weeks. Had a cold front coming with heavy winds.
They stayed the night before and after front and wind moved in, they left.
Been two days and it's still cold but no birds around. I assume they backtracked to the South until weather improves.
I've never seen them leave like this before and still hoping they return.

A good guess. I had the same happen at my old place a few yrs ago. They have incredible instinct.

They came back but couple short.
