I saw my first scouts yesterday. I have my aluminum house up but I've delayed putting up my gourd racks till I saw the scouts. With those who have a pulley system for your gourds, how often do you replace the ropes?

Elmo,
Going to be a rush here soon, seems like the flood gates are open.
Iv 5 rope and pulley systems, four of which are 5 years old...replaced 1 in those years....it was 6 years old. Saw a couple of spots with fray. Seems like I'm replacing much more cable vs rope.

PS: in 10 years (except last year) iv taken all the systems down and store inside...maybe that helps.

Hope this helps!
Tom
