I’m adding another house this spring. I purchased some starling excluders. I was going to put them on the new house, but should I mix and match them between the two houses. Thoughts.

Were the old entrances round? Just wondering how much of a new look you were going to offer them.
Honestly, I suppose it won't matter really, the martins will figure it out and they will help keep the starlings at bay. Me, id put them on the new house-buy some more and get ready to put them on all the entrances. Key will be to make your changes to the old house entrances before they arrive.
Whatever you do, dont believe your eyes..."landlord anxiety" is a real thing. You may decide they cannot get in, and take them off. They can get in, it will be to the point they barely touch the porch and duck in.
Hope this helps,
Tom

A good house sparrow is a dead house sparrow.
