First year with Troyer horizontal gourds. Plugged in the Bird Magnet and within 2 hours had a male scout sitting on the top perch. Thank goodness my husband was home and took a picture of it.

Exciting!!! One year I was so anxious that I’d go to the window so often to see if there was one to the point of just about crazy. One day I thought for sure it was one and was so excited but it ended up being a starling.
Good luck!!!! Brent

Thank you so much. I wish you the same. I am very familiar with Many we love fishing Toledo Bend. Once a year we rent a cabin at the State Park on South Toledo Bend.

South Toledo Bend State Park is a popular park on the lake.
I have a lot of church friends that live in subdivisions very close in proximity to this park.
It really is a shame that there are no more PM landlords in that area because without a doubt, the lake would be an attraction.
I am excited for your adventure as a PM landlord and look forward to your reporting those precious babies.

I hate to admit this….. but I must, lol.
It was after I sent email to the lady that asked for website direction on how to access PM Scout reports.
I knew there was such a site but it didn’t occur to Goose, (my family’s nickname for me) that there was so much up to date information there on the arrival of PM’s, and location to all identified and registered landlords. That site is awesome. I’m sure I have driven some of you crazy asking about your geographical location. I just didn’t know, I’m sorry.
I just happened up on it. So thank you Ms Carol for opening up this new world of Martin information from the question you posed today.

Thank you so much!!! I’ve never placed bedding in the houses before , but am leaning towards doing that this season before they arrive.
I can try it and see how they respond to it and monitor nest.
Without a doubt, they will bring many green leaves before egg laying.
Being a serious landlord and joining PMCA, a whole new world of knowledge has opened up. I STAND AMAZED!!
