Dialed my scope in today. Just a couple quick adjustments on the up/down turret. 6 shots in a row on a dime sized target at 13 to 15 yards ( the distance from my blind to my housing). That was enough. Beware HOSPS! Pic of target below.

Looks good. I had bought a couple what I thoght were good air rifles in the past and not had any luck. A couple years ago I broke down and bought a nicer one and it has been a game changed. From my upstairs window to my housing is 33 yards. So I am sighted in at that distance. Mine can shoot similar size groups at that distance. From time to time I will mis a HOSP (probably my fault not the gun) but have never missed a starling. I have killed more sparrows the last two years since I have had it, than in the past. Last year I set up a platform feeder under my housing that I put out in the winter. I got a ton of them over the winter. I need to put it back out again but I have not been working from home like I had in the past so I haven't had time to shoot them like I did in years past. Still have time to take some out before I put my housing up. I have a Umarex Notos air rifle. I highly recommend this in that price range.

Nice flyin.. that’s a great rifle for sure. I’m lucky enough that my set up allows me to shoot from under my patio , in my blind. Only 13 to 15 yds.. with magnifier on 6 it looks like the hosp is perched on the end of my barrel.. hard to miss if scope is dialed in!

Hello Guys and nice shooting

Little background on myself before going to my subject
Shot on a riffle team for 4 years

Later years took up squirrel hunting with a dog
And my 22 rifle

Tried a few scopes
Then decided to try a red dot scope
When I was training my young dogs

I didn't want to kill the squirrel and waist the meat in hot weather
Just wanted to train there eyes and get excited
So I would move the squirrel around in the tree

When i decided they were ready for some hair in there mouth
I would start shooting them
I found the red dot scope would perform on a 22 or a pellet rifle

if needed to be safe with the shot around close neighbors property
Also found Icould get my shot off quicker

Hi unk….your red dot post is there. I just read it.. hey, whatever works best for you! If it’s a red dot or other! Agree.. They are good for quick acquisition of target, especially in close quarters. I have one on my draco Ak..
Yea Tom, red looks good on HOSPS!
