We diffidently have an owl problem here in Louisiana. I had to use the Bo 9 gourds with tunnels because they are not as heavy as most gourds. They will be hanging from a gourd bracket under my S&K house. We had 14 pair our first year with the S&K house. We added 2x4 wire to the house last year to protect the Martins from the Owl that perched on their house 3 nights in a row. The Martins figured out the wire with no issues. If anyone wants photos of the modifications that we made with the house and gourds just email me at [email protected] and I’ll be happy to send photos to you
