I would love to have some nest cameras but need best recommendation for a camera I can sync with my phone via WiFi. Thx so much ~ preferably something simple yet with clarity. And where to purchase!

2020 - Pair investigating
2021 - Got 2 eggs. HOSPs poked holes in them. Commence HOSP reduction
2022 - Off to a good start, tree swallows took over and Martins left
2023 - Off to a good start, Martin population dwindled and they eventually left
2024 - New standalone pole and gourd rack. 1 nest, 4 eggs, none hatched
2025 - 9 nests, 37 eggs, 23 hatched, 19 fledged!
We’re happy with the blink outdoor 4. It does run off WiFi though, so gotta keep that in mind.

X2 on Blink. Multiple mounting options and easy to move around.
What I like about the Blink cameras is that you can purchase the mounts separately. We installed mounts in every compartment so if we need to monitor a certain nest its as easy as snap off snap on in a few seconds. Close up picture quality is great.

Thku all so much! I just love this forum:)
Appears the 4 outdoor is 2.75”x2.75” and is mounted with screws. I have a t-14 which should be easy enough but I also have gourds and wondering how to mount?
I also see on amazon, mounts that do not take screws, but adhesive…any thoughts?
Is the mount that comes with the camera adjustable? Thinking in the t-14 I’ll have to mount on inside ‘side’ wall. Again, my thx!

I have a question about the Blink cameras. They look easy to install and I know they can communicate to an iPhone, but can they also communicate to a web site so people online can view the live video? Or how about to a computer screen? Thanks!

For those of you that have Blink, do you just kick them on for live view when you want to see something. I have them on my home and love them for that. They are motion activated and when I have them on, if someone pulls in or approaches any of my doors they turn on, I get an alert, and then get a 30 second clip. The batteries last forever because we don't keep them on all the time, only while we are away, and we don't have that many people coming up to our house.
On the other hand, they would just be constantly going off in a martin house if you have them activated, every time there is motion they will kick on for a short period of time (determined by you). Just curious how you guys use them, that have them in a martin house.
