Hello
Have this idea [ Have 6 Mailboxes hanging under my 12 gourds
A mailbox is long and flat on top
My birds like together and set on top of the mail boxes
Thought = what if I just mount one feeder tray to the top of one of thoses mailboxes
Whatcha think ] Think it might entice them to feed from that tray
Later Unk
Thinking out of the box [ Smile

I think, yes and no. Yes, because it could entice the martins to feed. No, because it could also attract some unsavory birds other than martins. Which ever you decide, keep us up to date.

Why attempt to feed the martins when there is no cold weather storm?

I know for certain you will attract mockingbirds to that tray. And once they find it, They are very aggressive about protecting a food source. I would proceed with caution..
good luck
