Does anyone have experience with visiting this roost? Is it active this year? According to the interweb, mid to late July is peak time for this roost. Would love to see a radar report for it like the Texas radar in another recent post. Any reports or advice would be appreciated.
My wife and I have reserved a pontoon tour boat for the evening of Saturday, July 20th and we have four of the six boat seats available. We are heading up from Florida and are willing to have anyone interested join us on that roost tour (6:30 - 8:30 pm) by sharing cost. If it is allowed and the mods don't chastise me, interested folks can reply here (I'm not sure if PM is working on this forum).
Also, does anyone have any information on a roost near Apalachicola, FL?

2018 - Hurricane Michael tore down many trees to open up habitat - set up array Feb 2020

Ignore the big blob in this GIF, that's just Florida humidity. There's also a glimpse of a flock at Santa Rosa Beach, and possibly one near Newton, GA.

Is the big blob to be ignored the rain in the gulf or the signature that looks like birds centered SE of Tallahassee? Thx for the radar reports! I think that I will have to visit the Apalachicola roost this week.
