Possum attempts to climb pole (Video Attached)

I wanted to throw this out there to see if anyone has ever had a possum attack on their colony. Can it be that Possum attacks are automatically assumed as coon attacks? The reason I ask is because I now have confirmed pole climbing attempts by possums at both of my locations. Things have been perceived as quiet since installing my electrical setup, (guess the setups were doing their job) so I decided to mount Blink cameras a couple weeks ago to monitor the poles (fun obsession I guess). Anyway, I now have confirmed possum climbing attempts at both locations. Attached is the home location video but for some reason I can't download the one from our camp in MS, can only view it. Both attempts are however very similar in teaching a lesson to the possums. I've also read that possums are very accomplished climbers and can even climb 1/2" bird feeder poles. I've also read that they go after birds, eggs and chickens.

Never ate possum, but I can't say the thought didn't cross my mind. Bet they would be good smothered down in a black pot.
