? Hardware for Excluder Porches and Owl guards

I have four vertical Excluder Gourds, four sets of the inside/outside perches, and four sets of the owl guards.

I cannot find the little bag of the bolts/nuts and screws to attach them to the gourds.

I need to know the size number and the length of the bolts/nuts to attach the porches to the gourds.

I also need to know the size and type of screws to secure the owl guards.

Can anyone point me to this information?

Thanks so much. I hope to get the rest of these gourds hung today. It looks like I might have another full house this year!

Talk to pmca. They carry all that stuff. If you bought them new, the nuts and bolts should have come with the gourds.

Thanks Dave; I appreciate the response.

I called the PMCA earlier; sadly, they don’t sell the hardware separately, and they could not give me the sizes of the bolts and screws.

I did have the little bag of bits, but it has been sucked into the vortex of the garage.

It’s an hour drive to town, but I may have to take the one completed gourd there to Ace to get the “ “helpful hardware man” to figure it out.

I have 10 of my 16 gourds hung. They can wait a few days for the other six. The PMs arrived yesterday.

I believe they are #8 size nuts and bolts for the porches.. maybe 1/2 inch long I think, but you can judge the length, by setting the porch in its position and estimate with a tape rule. It doesn’t have to be exact as long as they don’t protrude very much, and create a “poke” hazard.. I’m not sure about the owl guards.. but I would think the same process can be used. Just bring it to hardware store and get nuts and bolts that will fit the hole sizes, and lengths that don’t protrude too much.. stainless steel hardware won’t rust.. zinc ones will last a good while, but eventually rust, but are cheaper than stainless..
