Nestling on ground with a head wound

I have just done a walk around my gourds and have just found a nestling on the ground with a head injury ( pecked) The nestling appears to be fine other than that. The nestling could not fall out of the nest it had to be throw out of the nest. The gourds have tunnels.
Should I return the nestling to its nest. See attachments. Any help would be appreciated.

Martin Colony History: The 1972 St. Agnes flood wiped out all the Martins in my area. One day, in 1997-98, 5 or 6 Martins landed on the power wires crossing my back yard. I had no house for them. They kept coming back day after day. We got a martin house a few weeks later & they have been coming back every year since. I average 12-15 pair per year.

Years ago I had one with a head wound. I made sure it was getting fed. It survived. I'd place it back in the nest.

2021: 5 pair 25 eggs fledge 18, 4 egg 2nd brood attempt

26. 1 renest cav1, cav10 8 eggs 8 fledged 2 couples ASY and Sy

Ouch damn that head pecker!! :-(

Thank you. I warmed the nestling and returned to the nest. I hope it survives. I will keep a close eye on the nestling.

Are there any sparrows are starling’s hanging around your nest box? I hope the little nestling makes it. Please keep us informed.
