Lowering he houses in Wisconsin today with high winds expected and I find hatching young!

Beautiful! Always love the site of martins increasing their numbers. You’ve done a great job in helping them to achieve that.. that’s something to be very proud of…

It will be a fledge date around 8/22/22 if they make it. Looking at my records it will be the same date that a pair had a re nest fledge in 2020. It's a remote site ,but with the last of the nests fledging this week
I'll be able to see if they are ASY or SY's parents . I remember checking on the one that made it last time thinking all the martins have moved on , but other martins showed up the last few days before it fledged!

Feel they will make it. Others seem to know and help when it's time.
Funny, see martins do fly by and sing throughout the day so they are in the area here. Went to our satelite site this morning to retrieve the spare o door on the trio mini, soon as I had the house down a ASY male folded his wings and dove right down. Later, two landed on the house in back. They didn't stay long.
Nice to see and hear them before deafening silence sets in.

I wondering if when they fledge the parents will bring them back to the site at night or if they will just start migrating south. Guess I'll have drive over and sit and watch next Thursday or Friday before dusk.
