First subadults showed up at my place this week followed by the start of the singing of dawnsong by established males. Female subbie showed up on 4/17 and a male showed up on 4/19. Couple of days later I heard a male singing loudly about 5:30 AM, about an hour before daylight. The bird was singing from the housing which is very close to my back windows so it could be heard clearly thru the windows. (If they sing while flying I typically can't hear it unless I walk outside.) The next morning he was singing again so I got a couple of minutes of recording by placing the mic next to the window. Now it will be interesting to see when the first eggs show up.

Here is link to a short recording in case anyone is interested in checking it out: https://macaulaylibrary.org/asset/438641971
Will try posting pics if I can figure out how that works.
