Spare o door location question

Recently acquired a 12 unit grandpa trio, enlarged compartments, complete with the older model spaghetti rails. it was well maintained, just re painted it, took it apart and gave it some TLC. Its on a winch system, came with with pole.
Almost a shame to turn it into a sparrow trap but thats what ill do. It will go to a satellite site where I can't shoot.
Guy sold me 3 spare o doors as well, so my question is this:
is it best to put the traps on the bottom or upper level? Read that its best to place them close together, so did that, with only 3 (all other doors are closed off), I have 2 on one side, one on another. Iv a bit of long white feathers i poked through a nut and glued the nut to the back of the cavity, just in front of the hole so they can see it.

Tom, it does not matter where you locate the spar-o-door. Sparrows will enter the compartment regardless of where you place it. Just put a small amount of dried grass in one of the compartments. This helps to lure a sparrow in. And be very careful, Bluebirds can enter a spar-o-door trap. If you do not have Bluebirds in your area then you will have no problem.

Awesome, thank you Tom. I'll put in the dried grass, just a bit hanging out of the hole too? Make it look homey. No bluebirds down here, (sadly) only cavity nester we have to deal with are sparrows, starlings and occasional woodpecker.
