NEW UPDATED VERSION AVAILABLE!
Use the following URL to download a corrected version of my Purple Martin Prognosticator. It corrects some calculation errors primarily on the Summary Page. My apologies to those who have already downloaded the original version below.
Update 2/17/21: Try this link: https://1drv.ms/x/s!AjAj8HbqHkUPlLJXeIS ... A?e=CUiFoD. It should work and is the same as the link in the last post.
The file should be Read Only. Just save it on your computer as a different file name and you can then edit for your application.
Hope you enjoy it.

As the purple martin season is approaching I have expanded my Electronic Purple Martin Prognosticator spreadsheet to now include years 2002 - 2030.
It is an Excel spreadsheet that landlords can use to monitor and record critical colony information and statistics from year to year. It has inputs for # of pairs, # of eggs laid and hatched, # fledged, arrival dates from year to year, and several graphs to visually check your colony performance. It also includes a printable colony observation sheet that you can take to the field to record your data. Please read the instruction sheet prior to use for best results.
It is freely available at the following location: https://1drv.ms/x/s!AjAj8HbqHkUPlLJNWBw ... w?e=3VdyEL. You must have MIcrosoft Excel to use it but if you have a Microsoft account it will work with the free Excel Web Version as well.
Please contact me with any bugs, comments, or suggestions for improvement.
Hope you enjoy using it.

I too have tried to following the new and old links, and just get a message from OneDrive indicating: "This item might not exist or is no longer available. This item might have been deleted, expired, or you might not have permission to view it. Contact the owner of this item for more information".
Sorry you are having trouble downloading the file. Please be sure to use the link at the very top of the post. The second link below it will not work anymore. I just tried the link and it seems to work OK. Please let me know if you are still having trouble. I tried to attach the file directly to the post but for some reason the file attachment mechanism on the forum does not recognize Excel Macro Files (xlsm) as valid.
As another option try this link to the file: https://1drv.ms/x/s!AjAj8HbqHkUPlLJXeIS ... A?e=CUiFoD
As for working with OpenOffice I am not sure. The only concern I have is with macro compatibility. I'll see if I can test it and get back to you.
I believe it will work with LibreOffice 7.1 (similar to OpenOffice but OpenOffice has not been updated since 2014). Biggest difference is that the hyperlinks (in blue) are activated by ctrl-click rather than just the left mouse click.

I tried the updated link and was able to access the spreadsheets this time. I have a few years' of past data that I can play with, as martins won't be in this part of the country for another two months or so.
Thanks Roger.
