While the Martins were flitting between the two gourd racks I noticed there was something up with one of them. I got the binoculars out and could see an ASY male is missing at least half his tail. May have had a run in with a hawk on his travels back home. Check him out setting next to a full tailed ASY male.

You were congratulating me because I have a blue martin and am able to tell him apart from the others...well, now you have the same ability with Half Tail!
